Junior Sous Chef caret-down

We want to find enthusiastic chefs genuinely passionate about cooking great local Welsh produce.

Coast has quickly established itself as one of the leading restaurants in Wales set right on the golden sandy beach at Coppet Hall near Saundersfoot in Pembrokeshire.  The restaurant was AA Restaurant of the Year for Wales in 2016 and has won numerous awards and accolades.

 

Our Head Chef, Fred Clapperton who earnt and retained a Michelin star at his previous establishment in Surrey, is now looking for a dedicated and ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join his team.

 

What we offer:

 

  • Package of over £35,000 including Gratuities and Pension.

A successful candidate will ideally have:

 

  • Excellent Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef experience at within a similar fine dining environment.
  • Clear passion for the industry and food.
  • Natural ability as a chef with outstanding attention for detail.
  • Real ambition to succeed at the highest level.
  • Calm and resilient nature able to manage the pressure of a busy kitchen.
  • Dedicated and excellent team player.

Waiter/Waitress – Part Time caret-down

sandy beach at Coppet Hall near Saundersfoot in Pembrokeshire. The restaurant was AA Restaurant

of the Year for Wales in 2016 and has won numerous awards and accolades. Coast appointed a new

Head Chef in August 2020, Fred Clapperton who earnt and retained a Michelin star at his previous

establishment in Surrey.

The Restaurant Manager, Mose is now looking for a dedicated and ambitious waiters and waitresses

to join the team on a part time basis.

What we offer:

  • Excellent Hourly rate of up to £12 per hour including a share of Gratuities
  • Gratuities are shared evenly through a Tronc system and currently amounts to 7k per annum

per full time employee.

  • Individual Training and development plan for all staff.
  • Eligible to be part of the profit share scheme to be introduced in 2022.

Kitchen Porter/ Kitchen Assistant – Part-Time caret-down

Coast appointed a Head Chef, Fred Clapperton, in 2020, Fred has previously earnt and retained a Michelin star at his previous establishment in Surrey.

 

Fred is now looking for a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Porter to join the team in a zero hour contract.

What we offer:

  • Excellent Hourly rate of upto £13 per hour including a share of Gratuities
  • Gratuities are shared evenly through a Tronc system and currently amounts to 7k per annum per full time employee.
  • Individual Training and development plan for all staff.
  • Pension provided through NEST.
